For downhill skiers, snowboarders, and tubers, we are about five minutes from Belleayre Ski Center (ask us for special discounts on lift tickets!), about 15 from Plattekille, and about a half an hour from Hunter Mountain and Ski Windham. We can also point you to cross country skiing nearby – at Mountain Trailsin Tannersville, or on Catskill Park trails throughout the mountains. Want to go ice skating? Ice climbing? Just ask us for directions.
Or grab one of our sleds and take advantage of the perfect sledding hill right in front of the mansion. Make a snow man – or a snow castle – and have an epic snowball battle. Hot chocolate (or brandy!) awaits you when you’re ready to brush the snow off.
