Belleayre Ski Center will no longer be operating a shelter at the upper lodge, as of tomorrow morning. FEMA and other agencies will continue to operate the disaster recovery center at the lower lodge.
From the Middletown Flood Recovery website:
Belleayre will be serving their last dinner in the Upper Lodge tonight from 6-8 p.m. As of first thing tomorrow morning Belleayre will be CLOSED as an evacuation center. However, their food pantry and clothing pantry will be open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (They are no longer taking donations of ANY kind.)
The Flood Service Center, with representatives of FEMA, Social Services, the Red Cross and other agencies, will continue to operate in the Discovery (Lower) Lodge from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
