Dala! Musical Workshops at the William B. Ogden Library in Walton

On Saturday, February 4, the William B. Ogden Library will host two free musical events featuring Amanda Walther and Sheila Carabine of Dala. Dala, winner of the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year, have toured extensively across North America in the past several years. They are kicking off their 2017 tour with a concert at the Walton Theatre.

Prior to their performance at the Theatre, the duo will perform a free mini concert at the library for children and families from 11:00 to 11:45. At 1pm, Dala will hold an interactive musical workshop for teens and adults—those who are musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments. The morning workshop will be co-sponsored by Music on the Delaware and the Michelle MacNaught Foundation. The 1pm workshop will be co-sponsored by the Judie Reine Moore Fund.
