9/8/11: First heard on the Delaware County scanner, and then confirmed by the Middletown Flood Recovery website: There has been a road bank failure on West Hubbell Road, just above the Hanah Mountain Resort:
Road Conditions Update
Due to a road bank failure, West Hubbell Hill Road has been closed just above Hanah Mountain Resort. Middletown crews are responding. The Arkville Crossroad (Route 38) remains closed to through traffic.
