The Delaware County Department of Emergency Services sent out a press at 10:30am announcing that all roads in the town of Deposit are closed until 3pm this afternoon. Here's the release:
Thomas Axtell, Town of Deposit Supervisor, has declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Deposit effective at 6:30 AM March 07, 2011. All roads in the Town of Deposit have been closed. Heavy rain and then heavy snow has created treacherous conditions on all roads. The Town of Deposit will remain under a state of emergency with all roads in the township remaining closed until 3:00 p.m. today, March 07, 2011. For the safety and well being of the citizens of the Town of Deposit, no one should travel on any Town of Deposit road with the exception of emergency traffic.
