The body of 54-year-old Dana Rice, a Kingston resident who has been missing since September 29, was found at the bottom of a steep embankment in the town of Ulster on Friday night, according to a press release issued by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
Police say that there are no signs of foul play. Instead, investigators suspect that Rice died of trauma and hypothermia after tumbling down the 125-foot embankment that runs between Gallis Hill Road and Hurley Mountain Road in the town of Ulster.
The embankment is a third of a mile from Rice's home, police say. Rice's car was abandoned at the top of the embankment.
