Adam Bosch at the Times Herald-Record has the full story behind the panic-causing disappearance of Moische Dressner yesterday from his Jewish summer camp in Wawarsing. As it turns out, Dressner just didn't like camp, so he ran away. Bosch writes:
Police said Dressner was picked up after calling his parents from a phone booth at the Staten Island Mall. The phone call was traced by police. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office said it was unclear how Dressner got to Staten Island, but they suspected he took a taxi, train or bus ... Police said Dressner told others that he didn't like the camp, and cell phone records showed he was calling friends back home in Brooklyn since the beginning of summer.
