Bud Sife, an 85-year-old who lives in the hamlet of Fleischmanns in Delaware County, sent us these photos of the contents of his flooded-out basement, which finally got hauled out and cleaned up this past weekend, thanks to the help of 25 volunteers. ... Read more

This just in from Diane Galusha, the public information officer for the town of Middletown: A large mudslide -- 200 feet high and 100 feet wide -- has blocked portions of Hog Mountain Road in Fleischmanns and the Denver/Vega Valley.
