Steam in the Catskills...On August 8th and 9th, 2015, the Catskill Mountain Railroad hosted the steam engine Viscose 6, a 1924 Baldwin locomotive which ran from Mt. Tremper stattion along the Esopus Creek to the Empire State Railway Museum in Phoenicia. This was the first steam engine to run in the Ulster & Delaware corridor since 1949. I shot footage of two morning runs and edited them into this short piece.
