Multiple drug arrests made in Delaware County

Delaware County Sheriff Thomas Mills announces that several Delaware County drug dealers have been arrested on sealed indictment warrants issued Thursday by the Delaware County Court following a number of narcotics investigations conducted by members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division.

On Thursday evening members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Special Response Team arrested the following:

Marissa M. Peck, 20, of Barkaboom Road, Andes, was arrested at her residence on a sealed indictment arrest warrant charging her with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (class B felony). Peck is accused of selling Heroin from her Town of Andes residence earlier this year.

Peck was arrested on a second sealed indictment arrest warrant issued to the Village of Delhi Police Department in relation to an unrelated narcotics investigation conducted by village police officers. That indictment warrant also charges Peck with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

While at the Marissa Peck residence Sheriff’s Investigators also arrested Zachery M. Mattice, 22, of State Highway 10, Delhi, on a sealed indictment arrest warrant issued to the Village of Delhi Police Department on Thursday charging Mattice with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree as a result of an unrelated narcotics investigation conducted by the village police department. Deputies turned Mattice over to the Village of Delhi Police Department for processing.

In addition, Sheriff’s Investigators also charged Peck and Mattice with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana after the arresting Deputies and Investigators observed a quantity of Suboxone and Marihuana in plain view within the Peck residence at the time of the arrests.

Peck was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, in relation to an unregistered handgun that Sheriff’s Investigators seized from Peck at her residence in September of this year as a result of a separate, unrelated investigation.

Dennis A. Fickeria, 35, of Jones Hollow Road, Margaretville, was arrested at his place of employment on a sealed indictment arrest warrant charging him with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Fickeria is accused of selling a quantity of Cocaine in the Town of Middletown earlier this year.

 

 

 

Abelardo J. Vincente, Jr., 45, of West Main Street, Hancock, was arrested at his residence on a sealed indictment arrest warrant charging him with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a class D felony. Vincente is accused of selling Oxycodone and Methadone in the Village of Hancock earlier this year.

Peck, Mattice, Fickeria and Vincente were held in the Delaware County Correctional Facility Thursday night and were arraigned Friday morning in the Delaware County Court by Judge Richard D. Northrup, Jr., on their charges.

Following their arraignments, Marissa Peck was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bail bond on each indictment. Zachery Mattice and Dennis Fickeria were each remanded to jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bail bond while Abelardo J. Vincente, Jr., was ordered to be held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bail bond.

Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies also arrested Austin I. Rose, 21, of Andes, on a sealed indictment arrest warrant also issued by the Delaware County Court on Thursday. Rose will be arraigned on the Delaware County Court sealed indictment warrant in the Delaware County Court in January, 2017, at which time the charges will be unsealed and made public. Rose was arrested Friday morning at the Otsego County Correctional Facility where he is currently being held on a class B felony charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree following his arrest by members of the City of Oneonta Police Department earlier this year with assistance from members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division and canine Ozzie.
