Three twenty-something residents of the Sullivan County hamlet of Grahamsville have been arrested for larceny and fraud after allegedly charging $3,000 to a stolen credit and debit card, according to the New York State Police.
Twenty-two-year-old Angela Disanto, 26-year-old Wayne Atkins and 28-year-old Anthony Atkins were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 5 after an investigation by state police in Liberty, according to a State Police press release.
The investigation linked the three to the Jan. 31 theft of the cards.
"An investigation by the BCI unit at SP Liberty determined that the stolen cards had been used at various locations throughout Sullivan County," the press release said.
The two Atkins brothers were charged with felony grand larceny and forgery and are being held in the Sullivan County jail.
Disanto received the same charges, and faces additional charges from the village of Liberty Police Department. She is being held in the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
