Joe Moskowitz, the proprietor of Casey Joe's Coffeehouse and Arkville-Bikeville in Arkville, is throwing a huge flood-relief benefit concert at 7pm Saturday night in the space usually occupied by Robert's Auction in Arkville. The line-up, which came together in a flash this week, is epic, according to the Facebook event:
A concert to help raise funds for flood relief in the Margaretville/Arkville/Fleischmanns area for recovery from the devastation left throughout that area after Hurricane Irene...Casey Joe's is located at the corner of Rt.28 and Rt. 38 in Arkville. Come unwind a little with some killer music for a great cause!!!

There will also be free food for all in Arkville before the concert tonight, thanks to Arkville Bread and Breakfast at Casey Joe's and the stalwart fireman at the Arkville firehouse. The dinner at the firehall begins at 5pm and is a potluck affair, according to the Middletown Flood Recovery website:
An Arkville Community Thank You Dinner for flood victims and volunteers will be held on Saturday, September 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the firehall. Bring a dish to pass, if you can. Hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken will be provided. Arkville community members are encouraged to attend and celebrate the great spirit shown during this difficult period.
