The Pine Hill Community Center is holding a volunteer work day this Saturday, April 30. From an email they sent out today:
Hello friends. Please lend a hand to the Pine Hill Community Center this Saturday April 30 for a volunteer work day. We have a backload of small projects to complete and need your help; won't you come out to give a little something back to the building that gives us so much? We'll serve a free hot brunch at 10 AM and snacks throughout the day. If you can come for all or part of the day your help would sure be appreciated; we'll work until 5 PM. Please wear in and outdoor work clothes and gloves and, if you have them, pruning shears, weeders, ladders of all sizes, cleaning rags, carpet shampooer, dusters, staple gun and small finishing nail gun.
Sounds like a good time. (You had us at "free hot brunch," guys.)
