The New York State Police are reporting that officers found 58 marijuana plants in a Neversink home on Thursday and charged Duane A. Sausville, the resident, with operating the growing operation.
The report states that Sausville, who allegedly first gave a false name to state police, eventually consented to having his home searched by officers and a police dog, who determined that every room in the residence except the living room was being used as a "high grade" growing operation.
Sausville was also wanted in Franklin County on drug charges, the press release states.

State Police announce the arrest of Duane A. Sausville, of Neversink, NY.
On March 18, 2011, State Police Members in Liberty were conducting a criminal investigation on Clark Rd., Neversink, NY. During an interview of Duane Sausville, Members detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from within the residence. Sausville had initially falsely identified himself, but his true identity was soon determined. A consensual search of the residence led Members to a high grade marijuana growing operation within the residence. The entire residence, except for the living room, was being utilized for the growing, caring, and harvesting of marijuana. Tpr Matthew Johnstone and K-9 partner “Jed” assisted in the location of approximately fifty eight marijuana plants being grown.
Duane Sausville was arrested for Unlawful Growing of Marijuana and False Personation. Further investigation revealed that Sausville was currently wanted by the Franklin County, County Court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree. Sausville was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
