It's another day of slow driving and ice covered roads, and like as not your local school is closed. Again.

The counties are sending out alerts about the road conditions left and right. The latest alert warns motorists in Delaware County and Sullivan County to drive very carefully:

Patchy Freezing Drizzle Is Also Possible For A Time Early This Morning. Morning Drivers And Walkers Should Exercise Caution. Monitor Changes On Walkways And Roadways As Icy Patches Will Be Intermittent. Furthermore...Elevated Surfaces Such As Bridges And Overpasses Tend To Freeze Sooner Than Other Road Surfaces.

Our school district has just used up its sixth snow day out of six and it's only mid-Jan. Time to cancel that Spring Break vacation.
There's been another morning accident on the Catskills-region New York Thruway. The northbound lane is closed between exit 21 and exit 21B, according to 511NY.org:
