Ken Butler Performing
Tonight at 7 pm on The Orphic Radio Hour on WIOX Community Radio we will preview the upcoming performance by Ken Butler on August 9 at the Orphic Gallery.
We will talk with Ken and showcase his music, and also that of the musicians who will join him that night - Ed Potokar, Ernie Brooks and the incomparable Michael Suchorsky. We are excited to present the world premier of a Night Sky composition featuring Michael and David Rissenberg, and we will also hear pieces from Ed with Audio Artists and some recent works of Ernie with Arthur's Landing.
From Ken we will play selections from his Voices of Ancient Objects CD on John Zorn’s Tzadik label. All on WIOX at 7 pm at wioxradio.org or 91.3 FM for listeners in the Roxbury area.
