The HealthAlliance Foundation is proud to announce their collaboration on the Michael B. Finnegan Golf Classic (MBFGC). This year’s 33rd annual golf tournament will take place on June 13, 2014 at the Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, New York.
In the past, funds raised at the tournament were donated to the American Cancer Society. Instead, this year the HealthAlliance Foundation is aiding MBFGC with distributing the funding to local cancer programs and services.
“We talked with our golfers, sponsors and all interested parties and we all felt strongly that we wanted our valuable dollars to go to local residents in need of cancer care here in Ulster County,” said Ian Horowitz, MBFGC committee chairman.
The HealthAlliance Foundation will be contributing to the tournament by providing administrative support and event day assistance.
“We agreed to support the tournament in an effort to help bring more high-quality healthcare to the area,” said Steffen Kraehmer, Executive Director of The HealthAlliance Foundation. “This is a great opportunity to direct the funds back into our own community and see the positive impact of the support and sponsorship for the Michael B. Finnegan Golf Classic.”
Details will soon be available regarding sponsorship and golf opportunities for the event. For more information, please email bwright@advertisingandpr.com.
