Vendor space is still available for one of the area’s most popular events, the Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary Antique and Flea Market on Saturday, Aug. 3.
The market, which will be held for the 45th year, attracts thousands of visitors to the Catskill Mountain community of Margaretville. Vendors offer an assortment of goods ranging from unusual antiques and fine handcrafted pieces to random hidden treasures. In this era of widely publicized treasure hunts, the “finds” at the market can be remarkable.
The event runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is held on the grounds of the village park, behind the Freshtown Marketplace. The event is a fund-raiser for Margaretville Hospital, a member of HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley.
