Sharon Reich and Christina Chiarappa
The Orphic Gallery is is pleased to announce the sale of a lyre by Roxbury resident Christina Chiarappa to patron Sharon Reich. The lyre is fashioned from wood and copper with multi-colored strings. Christina exhibited the work as part of ARS MUSICA, the art show featuring work created by the art students of the Roxbury Central School that ran from December 2012 into the early part of this year. The gallery has commissioned the artist to create another stringed instrument for its permanent collection. Thanks to Sharon for her patronage of the gallery and congratulations to Christina for her success in her inital foray into the art world.
