A few more of the marvelous vendors you will see at the February 14 indoor holiday pop-up farmers’ market in Stamford:
For that special DIY’er in your life, Skylands Supply and Rental will have do-it-yourself products for sale, helping you make that “honey-do” list so much easier to do.
Local historian Bernice Graham Telian will be signing and selling copies of her latest book, "My Grandmother Mary Was Hanged," which is a true story of the historical period when witchcraft was dominant in the churches and courts in Colonial Connecticut. The book has been accepted in the DAR Library in Washington, D. C.
Kiddie Corner Pre-School will be serving up their famous soups and stews, so food to pick up and go will be available.
The Greater Stamford Area Chamber of Commerce (GSACC) is pleased to announce that they are sponsoring another indoor holiday pop-up farmers’ market on Thursday, February 14 from 3:30 to 6 PM at the Frank W. Cyr Center, the site of the former Rexmere Hotel, located at 159 West Main Street in the Village of Stamford. (The snow date is Friday, February 15 from 3:30 to 6 PM.)
The market is right before the long Presidents’ Day weekend and falls right on Valentine’s Day. The market’s vendors will have farm fresh food, local beer and wine, hand-made gifts, table decorations, fresh flowers and more. There is plenty of parking available and the building is handicapped accessible.
Get to know the farmers and other local business owners (and GSACC members), as you “shop local”. Want to make sure they have what’s on your shopping list? You can pre-order directly from them for pick up at the market – just get in touch with them.
