For all you local word-ivores, News Ink authors will be joining about a dozen other Catskills-based authors on Thursday, Dec. 20, for a Holiday Pop-Up Market at the Cyr Center in Stamford, N.Y.
The event will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cyr Center, 159 W. Main St. in Stamford.
News Ink authors Jim Mullen, David J. Krajicek and Lynne D. Schneider will be there. Our books (Mullen's humor, Krajicek's true crime and a new memoir illustrated by Schneider) will be discounted to $10 each for this event.
Among the dozen other authors scheduled to be there are our friends T.M. Bradshaw, author of a new memoir, and Michael Teitelbaum, author of a zombie parody.
This event, sponsored by the Greater Stamford Area Chamber of Commerce, will include nearly 50 vendors selling all sorts of locally made items. The book portion of the event is sponsored by Hobart Book Village bookstores. Thanks to Diana Adams of Wm. H. Adams Antiquarian Books for wrangling the authors.
