Mego 2-XL 8 Track Player - The Robot with Personality
The Orphic Gallery and The Eight Track Museum encourage everyone to support the local Toys for Tots program which is especially critical this year because of Hurricane Sandy. The gallery is collecting toys for this initiative along with the businesses listed below. Saturday night at the opening of ARS MUSICA from 5-7 pm will be an especially opportune time for art lovers to drop off toys at the Gallery. Come on, bring the kids the eight track players and tapes at the top of their lists.
Toys for Tots Drive...The NYC Marine Toys for Tot suffered loss and damage to their inventory after Hurricane Sandy. The Brooklyn facility is working to replenish their supply.
The newly formed Binnekill Business Council in collaboration with the Long Woods Business Association, (Roxbury/Grand Gorge), Fleischmanns First, and Andes Works, will be hosting in conjunction with the NYC Chapter of US Marine Corps Reserve, a regional Toys for Tots Drive.
November 17th through December 16th.
New, unused, and unwrapped toys will be collected at the following facilities:
Margaretville:
Bed & Bath Shoppe, Foothills Shoe, NBT Bank, the second floor of Commons
Fleischmanns:
The Tinderbox, Sam's Country Store, Wadler Bros
Andes:
Andes Hotel
