Audrey Axinn is a faculty member at The Juilliard School and The Mannes School of Music. A frequent guest instructor at schools such as Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Beijing Central Conservatory, The Curtis Institute of Music and The New England Conservatory, she is a longtime student of Zitta Zohar and is dedicated to fostering ergonomic playing on all keyboard instruments. A sensitive and vibrant performer, she has played solo and collaborative recitals at many venues throughout North America and Europe. Ms. Axinn holds a doctorate from The Juilliard School, as well as degrees from The Curtis Institute of Music and Manhattan School of Music.
Maria van Epenhuysen Rose, a native of the Netherlands, is an active performer on historical pianos. In addition to performance degrees from the Netherlands and England she has a PhD in Musicology from New York University (2006) and has written many articles on piano performance practice. Ms. Rose has recorded piano works by Hummel, Clementi, John Field, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven on period instruments. She presently works as editor at the International Center of RILM (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City and lives in Stone Ridge, New York.
Yi-heng Yang is a dynamic and versatile collaborator and soloist on modern and historical keyboards. Recent appearances have been at The Boston Early Music Festival, The Frederick Collection, La Grua Series, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Serenata of Santa Fe, Albuquerque Chatter, and The Friends of Mozart. Ms. Yang holds a doctorate in piano performance from The Juilliard School, where she is on the faculty of the Evening Division. She also holds a Masters of Fortepiano, summa cum laude, from the Amsterdam Conservatory, where she studied with Stanley Hoogland.
