Young at Art: Opening Reception

Young at Art, an exhibit in the Walt Meade Gallery of the Roxbury Arts Center, is designed reach children at their eye level, creativity level, and excitement level. And in an effort to create a positive experience for children at what may be their first gallery experience, artists and Roxbury Arts Group staff have collaboratively to create an exhibit that includes touching, vocalizing excitement, and adding to the works displayed on the walls.

Participating Artists include Lou D’Amico, Elaine Grandy, Gary Mayer, Rachel Polens, D. Michael Price, Tina Psoinos, Sarah E. Swist & Kevin R. Mercer, Nat Thomas, and Ian Webster.

Children and their adult guests are invited to join us for the opening reception on Saturday, January 21 at 11:00a which will feature age-appropriate refreshments for our littlest guests. The exhibit will remain open in the Walt Meade Gallery through February 25, 2017.
