This is a pioneering video documentary of a home birth. Shot in the Yucatan, Mexico, where a child is delivered Mayan style, in a hammock, by a Mayan midwife to a North-American mother. Recorded in 1972 with a Sony Portapak during a trip to Mexico with the Woodstock Community School. Edited at Electronic Arts Intermix.
The trip is detailed in the book, "On the Bus - Truckin' Through Mexico with the Community Free School" by the True Light Beavers. Doubleday - 1975
