The second, a “Wonderful Wildflower Walk,” will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. It will be led by Tracey Testo, CCE Program Assistant. Hike the Siuslaw Model Forest at CCE of Greene County's Agroforestry Resource Center with wildflower enthusiast Tracey Testo, to search for the colorful blooms of late spring such as Canada Mayflower and Yellow Sweet Clover, which are abundant in the Siuslaw Model Forest. Come and learn simple flower parts that will enable participants to go out and identify wildflowers on your own, as well as discovering historic or current uses of these plants. This program includes a moderate hike. The cost is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. Dogs are prohibited unless they are service dogs.
