Caregiver Support Group
Available free of charge in Phoenicia
Beginning on March 14, 2013
Are you a Caregiver, caring for a loved one? As much as you love the person you are caring for, the task can quickly become overwhelming and lead to burn out. Support is very important to keep you healthy both mentally and physically.
Meeting others who are also caregivers can help. They understand what you are going through. A Licensed Social Worker from Jewish Family Services of Ulster County, Inc., (a not-for-profit agency) will lead the group and offer understanding, a safe place to vent and helpful advice about services that can help you to provide the best care for your loved one. The group is free and open to the public due to funding by the Ulster County Office for the Aging and JFS.
To register or for more information, please call JFS at (845) 338-2980.
