Delaware County
Santa comes to the town square in Delhi on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., along with horse and wagon rides and hot cocoa. The town's holiday lights contest ends the next day.
Greene County

On Saturday, Dec. 13 in Hunter, visit with woodworker John Franklin at the Kaaterskill Fine Arts Gallery to witness a woodworking demo and learn more about his art, which you can buy on-site.
In Athens, a Victorian Stroll will take over the town on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 1 pm. to 5:30 p.m. with “horse drawn trolleys, face painting, a chocolate station, cookies and other goodies, the Hudson Valley Bells performance, a Coxsackie-Athens Community Band concert, the Athens Museum display, craft vendors, a gingerbread contest, ornament contest, dance performances, singing by the Athens Community Chorus and Athens Youth Chorus, wine tasting, a caricaturist, ice sculptor, ACC members' small works exhibition and sale, carolers in Victorian garb, tree lighting and much more!”
Schoharie County
Two new Main Street businesses will open their doors during the Miracle on Main Street festival in Middleburgh on Friday, Dec. 12. The town will be spicing up the extended store hours with horse and wagon rides, caroling, winter street food like roasted chestnuts and soups, and, of course, Santa. They’ll have all kinds of free entertainment at the library, from Christmas stories to cloggers.
Hive in Schoharie is holding an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 featuring lots of new merchandise and gifts under $20.
Sullivan County
Strolling carolers and shopkeepers in Victorian garb take over the streets of Callicoon all weekend on Dec. 13 and 14 during Dickens on the Delaware, a Main Street shopping event featuring music, mulled wine, potato pancakes, crafts and photo stations.
Duke Pottery in Roscoe is hosting Handmade for the Holidays, featuring the best work of over 30 local creators of all sorts. It’s happening on Dec. 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ulster County
Come join the fun as Rosendale celebrates Frozendale Daze on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s a community-spirited day full of maker sales and specials, refreshments and entertainments. It’s possible to have a blast without spending a dime, but you’ll find plenty to drool over and give. Highlights include the Mac and Cheese Contest and a free matinee showing of Oliver at the Rosendale Theatre.
The Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild takes over the Emerson Resort in Mount Tremper from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 with a gift making workshop for kids and handmade jewelry, knits, soaps and pottery for sale.
