Two arrested in connection with Walton Spider-Man robbery

Police have arrested two men in connection with a Black Friday robbery of a convenience store in the Delaware County village of Walton, according to a press release from the Walton Police Department.

An individual in a Spider-Man mask and a green sweatshirt robbed the Smoker's Choice convenience store on the evening of Friday, Nov. 28, police said. They reported that the suspect was armed and may have escaped the scene in a green pickup truck.

Today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, the Walton Police Department reports that officers have arrested 33-year-old Lloyd R. Hunt of Unadilla and 30-year-old Jeremy T. Stafford of Walton in connection with the crime.

Both men were charged with felony robbery and criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor petit larceny. They were arraigned in the Town of Colchester Court in front of Judge Art Edell and remanded to the Delaware County Jail, Hunt on $50,000 bail and Stafford on $30,000 bail.
