This just in from the Daily Freeman: The body of an unknown man was recovered from the Hudson River near Saugerties late this morning.
[Saugerties police chief] Louis Barbaria said it looked as though the body had been in the water for “a considerable amount of time,” possibly several months.
The person had not yet been identified, but Barbaria said it didn’t appear to be Zachary Green, a 33-year-old Saugerties man who has been missing since Jan. 2 and who’s disappearance resulted in numerous searches by police and local residents.
