According to the Town of Shandaken's Facbook Page, Shandaken Day is still on, at least while the sun still shines. Expect the hurricane's rains to begin tonight:
Latest: Shandaken Day still on. Rain due in evening. Storm is continuing on track toward our area. Be aware that Belleayre Mtn. will be available as an emergency shelter starting @ 8pm Saturday, August 27th. If you live reside in a flood prone area, please be advised. The storm is not due until Sunday morning with 10+ inches of rain projected. Please check on neighbors.
