Power companies still working on thousands of outages, but power mostly back on

From the Daily Freeman: As of 4pm, most of Central Hudson's customers had power, but over 4,000 outages remained, mostly in Ulster County.

Central Hudson’s outage total at 3:59 p.m. was 3,607. Of those, 3,293 were in Ulster County and 267 were in Greene County.

From the Times Union: In the Capital Region, about a thousand customers still had no power this morning, mostly in Greene and Schoharie County:

In Schoharie County, 33 National Grid and 521 NYSEG customers still had no electricity.

Another 31 Central Hudson customers and 440 NYSEG customers in Greene County were waiting for power to be restored, as were 72 NYSEG customers in Delaware County.
