Accoring to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Daniel C. Rippe was arrested on Tuesday after he "held a child off a bridge" in Walton.
The press release, which you can see in its entirety below, doesn't have any more details on the child or on Rippe's alleged crime, except for the fact that RipPe was charged with endangering the welfare of a child:
On June 21, 2011 Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested and charged Daniel C. Rippe, age 23, of Walton, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child a class A misdemeanor. It is alleged that Daniel Rippe held a child off of a bridge in the Village of Walton. Daniel was arraigned in the Village of Walton Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail.
