A Kingston house partially succumbed to the weight of snow and ice on its roof this morning, the Daily Freeman reports. Around 9am, the porch of the Midtown home collapsed:
The Kingston Fire Department said the collapse occurred about 9:12 a.m. and that no one was hurt. The home is owned by Pat Tucker, the department said.
Firefighters said the lving area of the house was not damaged.
A neighbor two houses away reported hearing a loud crash while outside shoveling snow at the time of the collapse.
