Governor Andrew Cuomo's office announced this morning that several members of his administration will be touring flood-damaged communities in upstate New York this week, beginning this afternoon.
Today, Lieutenant Governor Bob Duffy and Environmental Facilities Corporation CEO Matthew Driscoll will visit Prattsville and Hunter to assess the progress of the recovery efforts there. Meanwhile, Darrel Aubertine, Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets, will be touring farms in Ulster County throughout the afternoon.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that Lieutenant Governor Duffy and members of the Upstate Storm and Recovery Task Force will travel this week to communities throughout New York to assess the progress of ongoing recovery efforts in towns that suffered severe damages from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.
"This summer, New York State took unprecedented steps to prepare for and respond to a series of natural disasters," Governor Cuomo said. "My administration made a long term commitment to assisting the communities that were affected by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Recovery will take time but we are dedicated to getting residents and businesses back on their feet."
The following visits will occur on Monday, October 24th. Additional visits will be announced over the course of the week.
