The Delaware County Sheriff's Department reports that 51-year-old Timothy J. Wren of Colchester was arrested this week and charged with forcible touching, third-degree rape and other felony charges stemming from alleged sexual acts with a child under the age of 17.

On Thursday, July 21, 2011 Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Timothy J. Wren age 51, of Colchester and charged him with:
one count of Forcible Touching in the first degree a class A misdemeanor, three counts of Rape in the third degree a E felony, and other related felony charges.
It is alleged that Wren engaged in sexual acts with a child less than seventeen years old.
Wren was arraigned before the Town of Colchester Court and released on his on recognizance.
The investigation into this and other alleged incidents is continuing at this time and additional charges may be pending.
It's the second arrest this month in the town of Colchester (pop. 2,042) involving the alleged sexual assault of a child. On July 8, Delaware County sheriff's deputies arrested 20-year-old Matthew Mattice of Colchester on charges of sexually assaulting a child under the age of eleven.
