As of around 2:30pm today, Delaware County Emergency Services says "most" 911 service has been restored:
Verizon continues to restore 911 services to the area. Delaware County has had area fire departments conduct tests of the 911 system from their respective areas. At this time we believe most 911 services have been restored. Fire stations will no longer be staffed and Verizon will continue to work on the phone related issue.
Readers: Does anyone know if the road closures around Sidney Center are still in effect? We've had no word from the county on whether they've been cleared, and no new messages have been posted on NY-Alert.
