Dear God. Is it that season already? Dressel Farms in New Paltz announces that the first apples of the year are ready now, almost two weeks ahead of schedule thanks to a warm spring. Galas and Honeycrisps are ready for eating -- and Cortlands and Macouns aren't far behind.
